Kyrgyzstan state customs service has seized a batch of cars from Japan with high radiation background at Alamedin station in Chu oblast, KazTAG reports. "The container with Japanese cars with high radiation background was seized at the border. The container is currently at the territory of the customs terminal," the authority's press-secretary Nuriya Tashpolotova said on Thursday. According to the customs terminal's employees, there are 5 cars in the seized container. The freight's owner is being identified. According to the preliminary information, the container followed from Japan to Kyrgyzstan via Kazakhstan.
