Tengrinews.kz - The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of the Ministry of Finance has issued an important warning to Kazakhstanis.
"To date, internet fraudsters continue to send fake notifications with the headline 'Notice of Violation Rectification. Debt Collection for the Budget from Funds in Bank Accounts' to taxpayers via email or as messages on social media," the statement reads.
SRC reminded citizens that all notifications are generated in accordance with the law and are automatically assigned a number. Notifications are sent only to the "Taxpayer's Cabinet," the eGov portal, and e-Salyq applications. Some notifications are immediately available in the personal account. Notifications related to desk audits can be requested in PDF format via the PPC or eGov.
"In this regard, the SRC recommends exercising caution, not trusting unreliable mailings, not transferring money, avoiding suspicious links, and verifying the authenticity of received messages. Important! Mailings from the State Revenue Committee's information systems are not sent to taxpayers' email addresses," the agency addressed Kazakhstani citizens.
