The WSB Season IV rivals of Kazakhstan's Astana Arlans, the World Series of Boxing current champions, have been announced, Vesti.kz reports. The Season IV Official Draw in Lausanne, Switzerland, put Kazakhstan team in the Group B. At the group stage Astana Arlans will face Mexico Guereros, Cuba Domadores, Azerbaijan Baku Fires, Russian Boxing Team and Hussars Poland teams. Astana Arlans will start their title defense at home arena with a fight against Azerbaijani team Baku Fires. The Group A contains Ukraine Otamans, Italia Thunder, USA Knockouts, Argentina Condors, Algeria Desert Hawkes and German Eagles. Changes have been made in the championship this year. The bouts will be held in ten weight categories instead the usual five, and winners of the season will get Olympic licenses. The Kazakhstan fighters couched by Sergiy Korchynsky will face the Polish and Cuban teams for the first time. Besides, the Kazakhstan team did not fight against Azerbaijani and Russian teams last year. Astana Arlans won over Ukraine Otamans with the score of 6:5 in the finals of the Season III. Bantamweight boxer Bagdad Alimbekov brought the decisive point to his team.
