Three parties get into Kazakhstan parliament: Exit poll

Late on January 15 the Institute of Social-Political Researches announced results of its exit polls at Kazakhstan parliamentary elections, Tengrinews.kz reports. The votes are distributed as follows: Nur Otan (80.5 percent) Ak Zhol (7.9 percent) Communist People’s Party of Kazakhstan (7.3 percent) National Social-Democratic Party (1.5 percent) Kazakhstan Social-Democratic Party Auyl (1 percent) Party of Patriots of Kazakhstan (0.9 percent) Democratic Party Adilet (0.6 percent) The poll was held in all regions of the country, in Astana and Almaty. 41,000 voters at 164 polling stations replied to the same question: “Which party did you vote for at the Majilis elections?” The tolerance is 2 percent.
