Tengrinews.kz - At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Uzbekistan on April 3-4 for a working visit, according to a statement from Akorda.

Tengrinews.kz - At the invitation of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will visit Uzbekistan on April 3-4 for a working visit, according to a statement from Akorda.

In Samarkand, Tokayev will take part in the Central Asia – European Union Summit and hold a series of meetings.

Earlier, on March 18, Tokayev spoke with the Uzbek president by phone. The two leaders reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening trade, economic, investment, and cultural cooperation. They also discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings.

Following this, the presidents met in Almaty.
