Massimov: Speculations over China will continue

Kazakhstan Prime-Minister thinks that speculation over China will continue as it might be profitable for someone, online-conference at Zakon.kz. Massimov explained that there is no secret program on Chinese investments to Kazakhstan. As well as there are no programs on transferring lands to Chinese companies. “China is important for us, but we have to balance the interests. We should focus on interaction with Kazakhstan business in accordance with the existing regulations of the WTO and CU,” PM said. Head of the Government noted that Kazakhstan is an independent country with its own national interests, with interests of the national business. The country cannot exist outside the world economy, that is why multi-vector policy is important. According to Massimov, the USA is currently the major investor in Kazakhstan, while the European Union is the country's major trade partner.
