Kazakhstan showed excellent football, Willi Ruttensteiner, acting head coach of Austria national football team said after the final match.of Euro-2012 qualifying round. The match ended a goalless draw, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the National Football Federation official website. “First of all, I'd like to congratulate Kazakhstan on this game. I think you had lots of chances, and your team could win the match. However, in my opinion, the result is fair,” Ruttensteiner said. He also added that Austrian team came to Astana to win. “Kazakhstan didn't allow us to play the way we planned, and my players made a number of tactical mistakes. The Austrian players foozled technically, that is not common to them and that was because of the pressure from the Kazakhstan team. We had trained properly and sent our team to win, but your players didn't give us a chance to win.” The match, that was held in Astana Arena stadium, ended a goalless draw. Kazakhstan football players had several good chances to achieve victory during the second half of the match. After the match Beranek said that his team needed to improve its goal scoring. Meanwhile it is still unclear if the Czech coach continues to train the national team. His contract has expired after the match with Austria. Kazakhstan Football Federation Executive Board will consider an extension of the contract at the end of November.
