World’s biggest transport plane An-225 Mria (Dream) landed in Aktau International Airport, Megapolis writes.
The plane weighing 600 tons landed on the runway of Aktau airport. This helped test the runway that was recently repaired. Some time ago the airport was threatened with loss of its international status because the takeoff runways did not comply with the regulations.
The Dream plane was developed for transportation of space ships and rocket holders. The authorities are planning to use such planes for development of oil facilities of the region.
