Kazakhstan National Bank is forecasting 6 percent growth of GDP in Kazakhstan in 2012, Tengrinews.kz reports.
“As for GDP growth, our forecasts are at around 6 percent for 2012,” chairman of Kazakhstan National Bank Gregory Marchenko said during a press-conference in Almaty.
Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that Kazakhstan Prime-Minister Karim Massimov stated that GDP growth in 2012 made 7.5 percent. Meanwhile, in December Kazakhstan Ministry of Economy and Development forecasted 7.3 percent GDP growth in 2011.
