Epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 15 kilometers 166 kilometers north-east of Almaty close to Altyn-Emel national park.
Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that 13 sensible earthquakes hit Almaty area on May 1-4 with magnitude ranging from 5.4 to 2.
