4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Kazakhstan at 7.14 a.m. (Astana time) on May 25, Tengrinews.kz reports with a reference to the website of the Center for Collection and Processing of Special Seismic Information of the Institute of Geophysical Research of Kazakhstan National Nuclear Center. Epicenter of the quake was at the depth of 15 kilometers 166 kilometers north-east of Almaty close to Altyn-Emel national park. Earlier Tengrinews.kz English reported that 13 sensible earthquakes hit Almaty area on May 1-4 with magnitude ranging from 5.4 to 2.
