Kassimova has been dancing with Rakhimzhanov since they entered the Zhurgenev’s Arts Academy. The dancers are trained by Tatyana Terekhova. Rakhimzhanov is a Candidate Master in Sport and Ballroom Dancing. His partner started training in ballroom dancing in her first year at the academy. Before that, Kassimova had been training in gymnastics since the age of 6.
The annual Robin Good International Festival is conducted as a part of the Independence Day celebration in the United Arab Emirates.
The festival opens competitions in choreography, singing, musical instruments, art and theatre for children. This is not the first time Kazakhstani dancers took part in the competition.
