Saken Seifullin Kazakh Agronomic University research fellows made a miniature yurt consisting of 13 cereals, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Megapolis.kz. This Bread house has been registered in Kazakhstan Book of Records.The yurt is 55 centimeters in diameter. The number of centimeters symbolizes the age of the University. 13 types of cereals were used to make the yurt symbolize the age of Astana city, the capital of Kazakhstan. The yurt is made of cereals and their derivatives only. The researchers used dough made of flour produced in Akmola oblast as a special glue holding the yurt together. Three varieties of the cereals were bred by Saken Seifullin Agronomic University's plant selection breeders. These varieties were named Kenzhegali, Dostyk, and Bayterek. Besides wheat, the scientists used barley, oats, millet, rice and rye to make the yurt.
