20-y.o. volleyball professional Yelizaveta Shepelenko from Temirtau (a town near Karaganda in central Kazakhstan) has married 27-y.o. Slovanian legionary of Temirtau’s Arystan hockey club Lukash Martinka, Vesti.kz reports. After the wedding Yelizaveta took her husband's last name. Yelizaveta Shelepenko is a multiple prize holder of the high league in Kazakhstan. She represented Metallurg AMT team (Temirtau) in 2004-2011 and has been playing in Karaganda team starting from 2012. Her husband came to Kazakhstan two years ago. Before his arrival the hockey professional participated in Slovakia, Austria, France, Finland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Canada championships. As a member of Arystan club Lukash Martinka won the 2011 Kazakhstan Hockey Cup. It is not the only prominent sports wedding this summer: London Olympics champion Svetlana Podobedova is going to wed on July 7. The weightlifter is getting married to her colleague world champion 2009 Vladimir Sedov.
