Children's Football Academy of FC Kairat was opened in Almaty on July 1. Children at the age of 8-13 will learn ins and outs of football mastery, according to the website of Almaty city Akimat (municipal authorities). Parents are welcome to bring their kids for evaluation. The training base is located on Kablukov street. Its territory exceeds 2 hectares. It includes outdoor fields and an indoor arena for training in winter with changing and shower rooms. There are plans to add classrooms, two medical posts, rooms for coaches, a gym and fitness facilities. During the opening ceremony Akim (Mayor) of Almaty city Akhmetzhan Yessimov said that the city is intending to create a sustainable system of training of professional football players starting from yearly age. "Our task is to enter the world arena in future. Our city has enough resources and opportunities, I think, we will reach the goal," the Mayor said.
