A unique manuscript of legendary Divani Khikmet text, written by Khoja Ahmet Yasawi was found in a museum of Kokshetau city, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing KTK website. Orientalist Ashirbek Muminov found the unique text of the Words of Edification, written in the 15th century. As it turned out, the museum's staff asked the local residents to donate antique articles and books to the museum 20 years ago. But nobody expected that one of the books, written in Chagatay language turned out to be a manuscript of the prominent Sufi scholar. The manuscript is in Astana at the present moment. Ten interpreters are working on its translation. As soon as the researche is finished, the manuscript will be published. “This book is written in Kipchak dialect of Chagatay language. As soon as the text is translated, scholars will start looking into it. I expect the book will open new pages of the history of the Orient,” Erbolat Bayat, Akmola oblast Arts and Literature Museum's member of staff said.
