The Central Election Commission has not considered the date of the inauguration of the re-elected President Nursultan Nazarbayev, a Tengrinews.kz journalist reports. Kuandyk Turgankulov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), stated that the CEC hadn’t set the date of the inauguration so far. “In line with the applicable legislation, the CEC is to issue a respective resolution within a month”, Mr. Turgankulov said. CEC Secreatry Bakhyt Meldeshov and CEC member Marat Sarsenbayev have also refuted that the inauguration will take place April 8. “I haven’t heard anything so far [that the inauguration will be held April 8]. But this is going to a CEC’s joint decision and we will keep journalists posted”, Mr. Sarsenbayev said.
