Kazakhstan to export medicines and cars to Turkmenistan

Kazakhstan is to going export medicines and cars to Turkmenistan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of the National Export and Investments Agency KAZNEZ INVEST of Kazakhstan Ministry of Industry and New Technologies. “Local producers of finished goods - Dosfarm, Hyundai Auto Truck & Bus Kazakhstan and South-Kazakhstan mechanical engineering plant - have reached preliminary agreements on supplies to Turkmenistan. Representatives of these companies have visited Turkmenistan’s Fair of FMCG made in CIS countries,” the press-service writes. Dosfarm is currently in talks with the Turkmenistan party on supplies of 15 types of medicines. The company is preparing necessary documents for their registration that is required for Turkmenistan Healthcare Ministry to purchase the medicines. “This will make the Kazakhstan company one of the first pharmaceutical producer of CIS countries that manages to enter this market,” the press-service states. Besides, a major Turkmen pharmaceutics company ENEM is interested in procurement of Kazakhstan-made medicines. The terms of supply will be discussed after Dosfarm registers its products at Turkmenistan’s market. Hyundai Auto Truck & Bus Kazakhstan is going to dispatch 50 trucks and buses to Ashkhabad. South-Kazakhstan mechanical engineering plant plans to open its representative office in Turkmenistan. The company produces lift pumps and is going to offer these goods in its bids at Turkmenistan government tenders.
