Tengrinews.kz - Today, June 25, Kazakhstan’s airlines are operating six flights from Dubai and Doha to Almaty and Astana to evacuate passengers.
Details were provided by the press service of the Ministry of Transport.
Flights to the Middle East are still being operated by bypassing the airspace of six countries: Iran, Israel, Iraq, Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon.
Astana resumed flights from June 25 on the following routes:
- Dubai to Almaty
- Dubai to Astana
- Doha to Almaty
“To evacuate passengers from previously canceled flights, the airline is organizing additional repatriation flights,” the ministry said.
Meanwhile, SCAT Airlines has begun evacuating citizens from Qatar. The first Doha-Almaty flight departed today, on June 25, at 07:35 a.m. local time in Qatar with 213 passengers on board. Additionally, a Doha-Astana flight is scheduled for today as well, with a planned departure from Doha at 2:30 p.m. local time. The expected number of passengers is 290.
According to the ministry, the following charter flights are scheduled to evacuate citizens:
- June 27, 2025: Doha – Astana
- June 29, 2025: Doha – Almaty
Earlier, Air Astana announced that it would resume flights to the Middle East starting June 25.
