Tengrinews.kz - Air Astana will resume flights to the Middle East starting June 25.
According to a statement from the airline, operations to the region are restarting following the ceasefire in the Middle East. Flights will be routed around Iranian airspace for safety.
The following flights are scheduled for June 25 (all times local):
- KC205 Astana-Dubai, departure at 11:00 a.m.
- KC206 Dubai-Astana, departure at 4:40 p.m.
- KC653 Almaty-Doha, departure at 11:00 a.m.
- KC654 Doha-Almaty, departure at 3:05 p.m.
- KC897 Almaty-Dubai, departure at 11:15 a.m.
- KC898 Dubai-Almaty, departure at 4:10 p.m.
In addition, a special repatriation flight, KC8980 Dubai-Almaty, will be operated at 5:40 p.m. on the airline’s largest-capacity aircraft, Boeing 767, to accommodate returning passengers.
“Passengers are advised to check following flights status at Air Astana website. All flights will be operated in full compliance with the highest international safety standards, as the safety of our passengers and crew remain our top priority,” the airline noted.
Earlier, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a warning to citizens planning holidays in Middle Eastern countries.
