One Almaty bus from the city fleet earns 30 thousand tenge (about $200) a day, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing city administration. The bus drivers' salary ranges from 100 thousand tenge (about 800 US dollars) and higher. According to the official data, 50 buses running on gas are servicing three routes – route №79 (20 buses), №29 (20 buses) и №2 (10 buses).
