Tengrinews.kz - A magnitude 4.1 earthquake has been recorded in western Kazakhstan.
According to the Kazakhstan National Data Center, the earthquake was registered by stations on September 24 at 14:20 Astana time in the Atyrau region.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reported that the epicenter of the tremors was located 134 kilometers southeast of Atyrau.
There are no reports of it being felt.
