4.8 earthquake hit the border of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan

A 4.8-magnitude earthquake stroke at the border of Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan, European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre reports. As per the Institute of Geophysical Research of Kazakhstan National Nuclear Center, the shocks were registered 140 kilometers south-east of Almaty at 03.06 a.m. Yesterday a 3.8-magnitude earthquake hit near Almaty. The epicenter was 70 km north-east of Almaty. The quake was felt as a 2-magnitude one in Almaty and a 3-magnitude in Talgar (one of Almaty satellite towns).
