The numbers are much lower in other cities. Astana has only 6 percent of attacked computers and Karaganda has 5 percent of them. Semei has only 1 percent of the total number of computers attacked by Internet viruses. Every second user in Kazakhstan is exposed to Web-threats. Kazakhstan was lifted to the fifth place in the global rating of Internet-surfing safety. The number of Kazakhstan Web-attacked users increased by over 10 percent last year.
