Wind generators were purchased in Novonikolskoye village of North-Kazakhstan oblast, BNews.kz reports. According to Gennady Zenchenko Executive Director of Zenchenko & Co, they decided to be the first to use wind energy in the region. Two 54m-high and 74ton structures were delivered from Germany. According to the entrepreneur, the project is worth over 1 million Euro. “The unit works at the wind speed of 2m per second and higher. We have such wind speed almost always in our oblast. We are waiting for an expert from Germany who will perform the second stage installation and the start-up. The stations will transmit electricity to the general network. The company will be always supplied with energy,” Zenchenko said.
