Kazakhs release Zerde smartphone in China

Kazakhs from Urumqi, China created a smartphone and named Zerde, Tengrinews reports citing Sen Kazakh.

The new smartphone was produced in Urumqi and has already hit the market and can be bought for $160. Zerde is an Android phone with an 8-core processor. The smartphone is a brainchild of one-year research of two IT specialists.

Zerde is available in black and white colors with a 5mp front camera and a memory of 8, 16 or 32 GB. The screen has a 1280p resolution. Additional battery is available for $16.

The phone supports a number of languages along with the Kazakh language. Like many other smartphones, Zerde has a variety of applications ranging from ebook reader to language learning apps. Applications can be downloaded from Play Market.

In terms of design, Zerde is similar to Huawei smartphones.
