Fire destroyed 350 tons of hay in East Kazakhstan

Kokterek farm in East-Kazakhstan oblast caught fire, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Ministry of Emergency Situations. According to the Ministry, fire destroyed 350 tons of hay. No casualties were reported. The fire happened at 12:40 a.m. Astana time and firemen managed to localize it by 4:30 p.m. It took some more time after that to extinguish it completely. The operation involved fire-fighting services of the Emergency Situations Department and the farm. Hay storage in Sarterek village of East-Kazakhstan oblast caught fire on August 31. 200 tons of hay was burnt. No casualties were reported.
