Kazakhstan government and Scat airline will render financial support to the families of the victims of the plane crash near Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Deputy Prime-Minister Bakytzhan Sagintayev who heads the Government Commission for Investigation of the Plane Crash . “A big tragedy happened yesterday. The plane was landing in bad weather conditions. The government commission was formed after the accident. We checked the accident site. A decision was made to render financial support from the state in amount of 1 million tenge ($6.7 thousand). Scat will also pay a compensation in amount of 3 million tenge ($20 thousand),” Sagintayev said. He reminded that the bodies of the victims were being identified in Almaty Central Morgue. The families would be able to take away the bodies after the procedure. According to Sagintayev, Scat will be responsible for transportation of the bodies. On January 29 the Bombardier airplane owned by Scat airline crashed 7km from Almaty airport during its second of landing. According to the prosecutors, the plane was performing a Kokshetau-Almaty flight. The accident claimed lives of 5 crew members and 16 passengers. By Roza Yessenkulova
