A car slumped under the pavement at one of Almaty streets, Lafa.kz reports.
The incident happened at night on April 2 in the area of Sain-Dzhandossov streets. There were four people including hte drive inside the Daewoo Nexia when it dived in. No casualties were reported.
The car was not badly damaged: the pavement crashed under the car and the Nexia fell under. Road police officers were working at the accident site.
Earlier a car fell into a similar hole in the road in Aktobe. That incident happened at 2 a.m. because workers failed to fence off the repair site or install any warning signs. The driver of the car was almost killed. The hole was made to repair a heat pipeline.
