An-2 plane crashes in Kyzylorda oblast

An An-2 plane has crashed during fertilization of a rice field in Kyzylorda oblast in southern Kazakhstan, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-service of oblast's Emergency Situations Department. The incident happened at 08:00 a.m. on July 15 at the rice field of Khalyk farm. “UP-A 0126 An-2 airplane owned by Astana Flown Spur crashed during fertilization of the rice field with ammonium sulfate. Neither the pilot in command (born in 1964 nor the second pilot (born in 1985) were injured in the accident,” the message states. The emergency response team of Shieli regional Emergency Situations Department including 2 people and 1 vehicle and a fire department's team of 6 people and 1 vehicle were dispatched to the accident site.
