Rescue works have been completed in the flooded villages of Saryagash region of South-Kazakhstan oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Emergency Situations Ministry. According to the Ministry, 48 houses and 119 yards were flooded in the area. Two houses in Karakalpak village collapsed and 9 houses and 9 yards were damaged by the flood waters. According to Emergency Situations Ministry, Zhylga village suffered the most damages with 37 houses and 108 yards flooded. The least damage was caused to Taskuduk village where 2 houses and 2 yards were flooded. The residents of the collapsed buildings were relocated to their relatives.
