5.2-magnitude earthquake hits Almaty oblast

A 5.2-magnitude earthquake hit Almaty oblast, the website of Seismological Research-Methodical Expedition of Kazakhstan Ministry of Education and Science writes. The shocks were registered at 06:26 a.m. Astana time on February 19. The epicenter was 231km south-east of Almaty. The hypocenter was registered at the depth of 15km. No casualties were reported. Two more earthquakes - 5.4 and 4.8-magnitude - hit 360km south of Almaty on February 18.
