4.6-magnitude earthquake struck 330km from Almaty

4.6-magnitude earthquake hit China not far from Kazakhstan border, Tengrinews.kz reports citing European-Mediterranean Seismology Center. The shocks were registered at 09:08 (Astana time) on June 14. Epicenter of the quake was 1km deep and 330 km south of Almaty and 198 km north-east of Kashi, China. No casualties were reported. 4.1-magnitude earthquake hit Eastern Kazakhstan at the border with China on June 6. Epicenter was 41 km from Zharkent and 255 km from Almaty.
