It is one of Kazakhstan's leading company in hydrocarbon exploration and production, and one of the largest companies of the oil and gas sector in the Caspian region in western Kazakhstan.
Christopher Hopkinson, First Deputy Chair of the Management Board of KazMunaiGas, became a new member of KMG EP Board of Directors.
The appointment followed Daniyar Berlibayev’s resignation as Chair of the KMG EP Board of Directors and as a member of the Board of Directors. According to the CEO of KMG EP Abat Nurseitov, Daniyar Berlibayev made a significant contribution to the development of oil production, particularly to the increase in its production from mature fields. Thanks to Berlibayev, the company also improved the quality of decisions made by the managing bodies. Abat Nurseitov wished Daniyar Berlibayev success in his future career.
