Kazakhstan poet and debuting film director Erbol Zhumagulov will represent his project The Book at the Busan International Film Festival in South Korea, Tengrinews.kz reports. Kazakhstan audience will able to see the movie only in spring 2014. According to the film's author, he was working on the film for 1.5 year. "I've just finished it officially. The film was financed by Kazakhfilm and shot on the first take. The budget was $1 million," Zhumagulov said. The plot is about a young worker of advertising agency who reads the Koran and realizes that a person bears a responsibility for everything in his life. "Busan Film Festival is a large and prestigious event, and I'm glad to participate in it. As far as I know Kelin movie of Yermek Tursunov started it’s international path from Busan. The world premiere of my movie will take place in October, and then there may be more international film festivals. I can't show my film in Kazakhstan now, because if I do the significance of world premier will be lost," the film director said. Zhumagulov said that later the movie would probably be screened in Almaty in the frames of the movie club of famous Kazakhstan film critic Oleg Boretsky. By Roza Yessenkulova
