South Korean PSY to sing in Astana

South Korean PSY, who performed Gangnam Style world hit, will sing in Astana on March 8 at KZ MUSIC AWARDS-2013 awarding ceremony, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to KZ MUSIC AWARDS-2013 press-service. The festive ceremony will be held at Astana-Arena Stadium. Famous Kazakhstan singer Roza Rymbayeva will present the show. 34-y.o. Park Jae-Sang was specially invited to sing at the concert. The organizers haven’t mentioned the amount of fee that will be paid to the singer. PSY became famous when the music video of his Gangnam Style appeared on the Internet. The global audience liked the unique horse-riding dance performed by the rapper. Psy's Gangnam Style video was galloping towards the one-billion-view mark on YouTube in December 2012. Gangnam Style got into the Guinness Book of World Records as a music video that got the biggest number of “like” clicks in YouTube history in September 2012. The rapper debuted as early as in 2001. However, he gained distinction only thanks to his horse-riding dance in Gangnam Style video clip. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon danced it along with China’s dissident artist Ai Weiwei, Mayor of London Boris Johnson, tennis professional Maria Sharapova, Hollywood actor High Jackman and many other celebrities. According to TMZ-Celebrity News the singer has bought an apartment at Beverly-hills and paid $1.25 million in cash for it. The popular singer from South Korea has already performed in the White House during Catholic Christmas ceremony.
