Eurasian Symphony Orchestra from Kazakhstan to perform worldwide

Eurasian symphonic orchestra will play in Spain, Germany and South Korea, Tengrinews reports citing Aiman Musakhodzhayeva, a prominent Kazakh violinist as quoted by BNews.kz.

Musakhodzhayeva, People's Artist of of Kazakhstan, Professor and Rector of the Kazakh University of Arts, spoke at a briefing organized by the Central Communications Services.

"60 members of the Eurasian Symphony Orchestra have already left for Spain to give 10 concerts. They are starting from Barcelona and then will tour Spain's other regions. This tour is part of a campaign to promote Kazakhstan abroad this year," she said.

The orchestra was organized in 2008, on the 10th Anniversary of Kazakh National Academy of Music. The idea of its creation belongs to Aiman Mussakhajayeva.

In 2014 the orchestra performed in London, Paris and South Korea. In 2015 the tour will begin in January with Spain. In March the orchestra will visit Germany and perform 10 concerts. After that they will play in South Korea.

"Now we want to cover all the regions of Asia. We have concluded agreements with 46 partner universities, mainly in Europe, but we would like to cover the countries of Latin America and Asia, too. This is what we are working on now," she concluded.
