Kazakhstan golden eagle named Stan has flown away from its British owner and feels good in the wild, Express-K reports. In the beginning of September 2012 the bird flew away right in the middle of a show. Stan’s owner Chris O’Donnel suggested that the bird would die as it could not hunt. Bird handlers from Warwick castle tried to catch the eagle using raw meat as baits, however their efforts failed. Stan was recently spotted in the suburbs of Northamptonshire. The handlers were sent to search for it. They found the eagle perched on a tree and eating a freshly caught rabbit. The Kazakhstan golden eagle story stirred some interest among British journalists and the bird even got on the evening TV news.
