Seven Kazakhstan athletes to take part in Paralympic Games

Paralympic Games will be held on August 29 – September 9 in London straight after the Summer Olympic Games. The disabled athletes from all over the world will take part in the Paralympics. Seven Kazakhstan athletes have qualified for the Paralympics, Kazakhstan Sports website Sports.kz reports. This is the record high number of spots gained by Kazakhstan Paralympics athletes over the entire history of Kazakhstan Paralympics sport, Sports.kz reports. Askarova Kabira and Abzhan Aybek (powerlifting), Salimov Islam, Kharlamov Sergey, Bayduldayeva Ainur (track-and-field athletics), Akmetov Anuar and Gabidullina Zulfiya (swimming) will represent Kazakhstan in the Paralympic Games this summer.
