Spring tango-2011, 10th International Dancesport Championship completed on April 17 in Almaty, Tengrinews.kz reports. 800 couples from Kazakhstan and abroad took part in the tournament. The youngest of them are four years old. Judges from Russia, Denmark, Italy, Germany, Slovenia and Hong Kong were evaluating the dancers. As per the championship organizer Viktor Klyuchnikov, the main feature of this championship is that the participants may get scores and obtain an international ratings that enable them to take part in higher class competitions. Kazakhstan Dancesport Championship Adult Ten-Dance was held on the first day of the tournament. Yevgeniy Plokhikh and Alyona Klyuchnikova from Almaty took the first prize. The second place was given to Almaty duet Anton Smolyaninov and Nataliya Beklemisheva. The third prize was won by Sergei Popov and Marina Laptiyeva from Almaty as well. Plokhikh-Klyuchnikova and Smolyaninov-Beklemisheva couples also received the first and the second places in IDSF Open Standard world classification tournament which was also held at the first day. A couple from Tashkent, Sultan Sultanov and Aziza Madzhiyeva took the third place. IDSF Open Latin was held on April 17, the second day of the tournament. The first prize was given to Boris Maltsev and Zarina Shamsutdinova from Taraz. Anton Smolyaninov and Nataliya Beklemisheva from Almaty received the second prize. The third place was won by Artyom Turchenko and Valentina Marking from Tomsk. Spring tango-2011 international tournament was completed by a gala show by professional dancers, including two-time Latin Dance champions Yevgeniy Imrekov and Yelizaveta Divak.
