Tennis players Yaroslava Shvedova and Galina Voskoboyeva (doubles), archers Denis Gankin and Anastassiya Bannova, judoka Rinat Ibragimov lost their matches. China remains the leader of the Games by medal count (9 gold medals), followed by the United States (5 gold medals) and France (3 gold medals). Russia has gone up to the 7th line thanks to the gold medal of judoka Mansur Issayev.
