Ice Hockey: Kazakhstan player named the Best Defenceman of World Junior Championship

Kazakhstan’s Yury Sergiyenko has been named the Best Defenceman of the World Junior Ice Hockey Championship, Division I, Group B, that has finished in Poland recently, Vesti.kz reports. Ukraine’s Sergey Pisarenko became the Best Goalkeeper and Japan’s Yuri Terao - the Best Forward of the Championship. Kazakhstan’s hockey player Nikita Mikhailis was named the Best Forward by the decision of the national teams’ coaches, who participated in the Poland World Junior Championship. Kazakhstan national youth team qualified for the Division I Group A by winning all five matches of the Championship.
