Boxing: Holyfield proclaims Golovkin best boxer of post-soviet space

Famous American heavyweight professional boxer Evander Holyfield said that the WBA middleweight World Champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin from Kazakhstan was the best boxer from the post-soviet space. "Golovkin is a brilliant athlete and a very strong fighter," Soviet sport quotes Holyfield as saying. When asked who was the best boxer in his opinion Holyfield answered: "Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the best without questions and regardless of weight categories." The 31-y.o. professional boxer from Kazakhstan has 28 victories out of his 28 fights and ended 25 of them with KOs. In his last fight the unbeaten boxer from Kazakhstan Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin won over American boxer Curtis Stevens and retained his WBA world middleweight title, ending his fight at Madison Square Garden arena in New York with a technical knockout. The next fight of the star boxer from Kazakhstan is scheduled for February 1 in Monte Carlo. His rival for the fight has not been unveiled yet. In his recent interview Gennady said that the World Boxing Association (WBA) was going to award him with the Super Champion title.
