Kazakhstan boxer Gennady Golovkin is setting up a fight against Polish Grzegorz Proksa or American Vanes Martirosyan, Vesti.kz writes. The fight scheduled for August 25 in the U.S. between WBA champion Gennady Golovkin and WBO middleweight champion Russian Dmitry Pirog will not take place, but American channel HBO is still planning to broadcast Golovkin's fight. So Golovkin is negotiating with other possible opponents. The fight in the U.S. was cancelled because Pirog had received a spine injury during training and is unable to fight in the nearest three months.
