WBA middleweight World Champion Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin from Kazakhstan has been named the best boxer of October by the World Boxing Association, Vesti.kz reports.
The professional boxer from Kazakhstan Gennady Golovkin, 31, who is fighting in the -72.5kg weight division, had 28 bouts at the professional boxing ring, with no loses. He ended 25 of his fights with KOs.
In his last bout Gennady won over American boxer Curtis Stevens and retained his WBA world middleweight title on November 2. His next fight is scheduled for February 1 in Monte Carlo, but his rival hasn't been unveiled yet.
