Akim (Governor) of the oblast Baurzhan Mukhamedzhanov presented the boxer with Toyota Camry car keys, Interfax-Kazakhstan correspondent reports. “Adilbek is the first and the only Olympic winner from Mangistau oblast. We decided to make a present for you. Please, take this car keys,” Mukhamedzhanov said at the awarding ceremony in the oblast’s Akimat. Aktau Boxing Center will be named after Niyazimbetov. “We have allotted the land already. The new Boxing Center will be constructed there this year. We will name it after the first oblast’s Olympic prize-winner boxer Adilbek Niyazimbetov,” Akim said.
