Kazakhstan's biggest poker series finished in Almaty

Kazakhstan Poker Cup, the biggest international series of poker tournaments in Kazakshstan, finished in Almaty. Representatives of Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Russia took part in the tournament to win big money, Tengrinews.kz reports. 25 Texas Hold'em (No-limit) tournaments with different structures and buy-ins were played on June 19-25. 122 players with $2,000 buy-in took part in the main contest with the prize pool of $250 thousand. In the end six sportsmen chose not to risk to the lowest notch and agreed to share the top prize without continue the final game any further. Each of them received over $30 thousand. Kanybek Sagyndykov from Kazakhstan, a multiple World and Asian Billiards Champions became one of the winners. By Dmitry Dubovitsky
