Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev met with King of Spain Juan Carlos I during his visit to Spain, Tengrinews.kz reports citing President's press-service. "The meeting covered interaction of the two countries in cultural and humanitarian sectors, tourism and international politics," Kazakhstan President's press-service writes. Besides, Juan Carlos I was awarded with superior Kazakhstan award, Altyn Kyran decoration, for his contribution into enhancement and development of Kazakhstan-Spanish relations. Nursultan Nazarbayev had a meeting with Spanish Prime-Minister Mariano Rajoy. The meeting covered bilateral cooperation, trade, economic and investment sectors. The parties also exchanged their opinions on current issues of the international agenda. Spain is currently one of Kazakhstan's key political partners in Europe. It is the second European country that Kazakhstan signed an agreement on strategic partnership with. Besides, Spain is the first EU member-country that signed a whole package of agreements on cooperation in criminal-legal sector with Kazakhstan. Before these two meetings Nursultan Nazarbayev met with Carlos Palacio Oriol of Patentes Talgo S.A. and Domingo Ureňa-Raso of Airbus Military as part of his visit to Spain.
