Nazarbayev discussed early Majilis elections

November 15 Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed elections to Majilis (lower chamber of Parliament), Tengrinews.kz reports citing Prime-Minister Karim Massimov's Twitter. “The President held consultations with Prime-Minister and speakers on the early elections,” Kazakhstan PM tweeted. On November 10 53 members of the Majilis (lower chamber of the Parliament) applied to the Presidents with a request to dissolve lower chamber. On the same day Advisor to the President assumed that Nursultan Nazarbayev will support the deputies' initiative and that the elections will be held in the middle of January 2012.
