Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met with the chairman of KazMunaiGas National Company Sauat Mynbayev, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the President’s official website. Mynbayev told the President about activities of the national company in the first half of 2013 and the plans for the nearest future. “Nursultan Nazarbayev said that KazMunaiGas national company is one of the biggest Kazakhstan companies and development of the country’s economy largely depends on its activities. He stressed that the company should train its own highly-qualified personnel for implementation of its technological projects (instead of importing experts from abroad),” the message states. Sauat Mynbayev was recently release from the position of Kazakhstan Oil and Gas Minister and appointed chairman of KazMunaiGas .
