The chairman of the Accounts Commission for Control over Implementation of the State Budget has been replaced, Tengrinews reports citing the presidential press-service. Kozy-Korpesh Dzhanburchin has been appointed the new chairman of the Accounts Commission by a presidential decree. The replaced chairman Aslan Mussin was appointed to the Accounts Commission in September 2012. Before that he lead the Presidential Administration of Kazakhstan for 4 years, and before that he served as Minister of Economy and Budget Planning. The new chairman Kozy-Korpesh Dzhanburchin has been deputy secretary of the Kazakhstan Security Council since 2009. Before that he worked as deputy Defense Minister of Kazakhstan, deputy Akim (Mayor) of Almaty city, chairman of the Economic Committee of Almaty and consultant to the Supreme Economy Council of Kazakhstan. Dr. Dzhanburchin graduated from Moscow-based Institute of Economics and Statistics. He is a holder of the Kurmet ("Honor") order that is awarded for outstanding achievements in economy, science, culture, social sphere and education in Kazakhstan. He is married and has two sons and a daughter.
